After-school support, enrichment, and inspiration - right at home.
The school day is over; does that mean learning has to stop? Learning After the School Bell Rings - also called "afterschooling" - is a flexible, low-pressure way to reinforce skills, dive into new interests, and help your child thrive.
Whether you're supplementing school, supporting learning gaps, catching up, working ahead, or simply making afternoons more meaningful, we've gathered a variety of educational resources to help you get started.
The intention is not to replace your child's assigned homework! You can observe as they do their regular work, and identify areas that need improvement, or areas of interest. That is where you can step in to provide supplemental work in keeping with such topics if your child has needs. Keeping track of these topics and communicating with their teachers will show both your child and their teacher(s) that you are committed to your child's education, and help ensure consistent support between school and home.
Afterschooling does not need to put a strain on your afternoons. It’s essential to balance extra work with time to rest and recharge. It is our hope that these resources will foster confidence in classwork and a love of learning. Feeling overwhelmed by extra work is not a service to anyone.
Feel free to draw from these additional resources with a mindset of flexibility. A workbook doesn't need to be completed in a strict or linear fashion - you can find modules that need work now, and come back to other lessons when they are helpful.
