WriteShop - an incremental writing program

Kim and Debra were looking for that elusive, perfect homeschool curriculum to use with a homeschool class when they realized that it did not exist. They had certain criteria they were searching for; it had to "emphasize clarity, conciseness, colorful vocabulary, and interesting sentence types; focus on developing a strong paragraph; offer a wide variety of writing activities; help students know exactly what to look for when refining their own work; and help parents know how to methodically evaluate their children's writing." Not finding the right materials, they wrote a curriculum that would meet their demands. WriteShop was born.

It did not take long before we had customers come back to tell us that they " this program!" Many of you know my one regret with some of the new materials is that it wasn't available when my children were ready for it. This appears to be one of those outstanding programs.

WriteShop is an incremental composition curriculum for junior high and high school students. WriteShop I for grades 7-10 familiarizes students with the basics of descriptive, informative, and narrative writing. WriteShop II for grades 8-12 expands these writing skills and introduces persuasive writing and essays. The comprehensive Teacher's Manual helps you teach and edit your student's compositions with confidence.

Begin with the Level 1 Teacher's Manual and Level 1 Workbook before proceding to the Level 2 Workbook. The WriteShop Teacher's Manual is designed to work with both the Level 1 and Level 2 Workbooks.

Set consists of WriteShop Teacher's edition and WriteShop Volume 1 workbook.
