The Boxcar Children stay with the Lightfeather family while visiting a Navajo reservation. In the process of preparing for a powwow, the Aldens hear a legend about an ancient village that may have existed nearby. The children begin digging and find some fascinating artifacts. When these turn up missing, the Aldens investigate.
