Bob Books early readers were designed to provide the path for children who are ready to take their first steps into reading.

The Foundation Sets work together progressively, so that as your child learns to read each book, his or her confidence and ability grows. If your child is not ready for reading, My First Bob Books build pre-reading skills.

Bob Books was created by a kindergarten teacher who wanted to give young children the tools to cross from learning letters to reading words. These award-winning beginning reader book sets start slowly and progress naturally from books with three letter words, to books with more than one sentence per page.

In addition to eight story books, two Activity Books are included, designed to entice youngsters to read, write, and solve puzzles.
