Backyard Nature Drawing Guide

Followers of Charlotte Mason's methods know how Miss Mason put an emphasis on nature journaling and sketching, as well as studying things that were truly beautiful and inspiring, such as fine art.
We are pleased to bring these components together in this nature drawing course that doesn't give the typical, dry, “ball and stick figure” type illustrations as a guide, but instead the lovely, lifelike illustrations of artist Douglas S. Farnham, a professional whose works hang in several museums.


Douglas' love for nature, as well as for the God who created it, shine through in these easy-to-follow lessons, complete with his conversational descriptions to walk the student through each lesson by helping him to observe his subject, as well as understand how to replicate it on paper.
