This book is the transition point for a child who is ready to begin cursive writing. All capital and lower case letters are taught, using the popular Zaner-Bloser font, as well as letter blending. The first half of this volume is spent learning individual letters and blends, while the second half introduces the full-color picture studies that you have come to know and love, and has short phrases and later, short sentences, to copy which pertain to that week's picture study.
