Finding a New Land

Finding a New Land is a complete rewriting of an earlier fourth grade reader Boys and Girls of Colonial Days. While several stories from the original book are also found in Finding a New Land, the new title includes many others, including works of poetry and additional stories from a wider variety of authors.



Finding a New Land has 29 reading selections divided into eight units. It is in a very readable format and contains vocabulary definitions, comprehension questions, and extension activities. We have also included vivid, four-color illustrations for each story.
