Meeting New Friends

Meeting New Friends is for students who have learned their sounds and have begun to read words having short and long vowels, as well as the other vowel sounds. These lessons are for review and reinforcement, in addition to introducing new words.



Each lesson is completed on one or two pages. However, it is highly recommended that the students be encouraged to study and master the charts in the back of the book, working on the words on one or more charts before doing the lesson. The charts will teach the student almost 1400 words.
