By the time he was six he was touring round Europe giving concerts to Kings and Queens. The Empress Maria Theresa was so thrilled with his performance that she invited him back to play for her again. Little Wolfgang ran into the Royal Ballroom, climed on the Empress' lap, flung his arm around her neck and kissed her!
