Unlike all the other volumes in the character classic's series, these stories in this last book have a completely different origin. It originated from England and was published by the International Temperance Society approximately 100 years ago. The stories following Come Home Mother, were also published in London in the late 1800 and have been read and re-read in our home. The stories were selected out of a book title ""Strange Tales from Humble Life"" by John Ashworth.
