Swallows and Amazons

To John, Susan, Titty and Roger, simply being allowed to use the boat, Swallow, to go camping on an island is adventure enough. But when they land, the children soon find themselves under attack from the fierce Amazon Pirates, Nancy and Peggy. Before long, the two sides call a truce, and so begins a summer of battles, alliances, exploration and discovery, as the children camp of Wild Cat Island, fight the terrible Captain Flint, capture a houseboat and survive a dreadful storm.
