Son of the Hounds
Son of the Hounds
The ancient battle cry of the Cameron family rings out in a new land the day Yankee soldiers carry Jimmy and his father away from their farm. The Americans, after a generation of independence, are sure that their neighbors to the north want the freedom they promise. But the Camerons have a good farm and a solid future, beholden to nobody. To them, the Yankee soldiers are foreign invaders. Jimmy escapes and joins up with two other young people as determined as he is not to give up without a fight. They become spies, informers and messengers for the infamous Band of Bloody Boys. Originally published in 1988.
