Relaxed Home School: A Family Production

In this book, the author suggests a ""Relaxed Home School"" approach, where the parents have thought through their ideas about education carefully and have come to terms with their relationships and roles as parents, allies, and co-educators. They respect their children and welcome their input, whether making or executing plans. They have set some specific overall goals for their family, and their expectations reflect their understanding of individual differences. They have set up a pleasant environment for living and learning together, and have implemented a basic schedule that works well for their family. Within this general framework, however, they have placed a supreme emphasis on the need for flexibility, balance and mutual respect.
