Many homeschoolers have discovered these biographies of Christians through the ages. It is wonderful to have Godly heroes for our children as an alternative to those in the media. We enjoyed reading them out loud together in the evening or during “school”.
Biographies are great when used in a social studies or science unit. Put them on your time line. History can come alive as you and your child read about real people in “living books” rather than in dry texts.
