Kite Fighters

Sibling rivalry is at the heart of this story set in 15th century Korea. Young-sup and his older brother Kee-sup are excited about the New Year kite competition. While Young-sup is an expert at kite flying, Kee-sup has trouble handling his kite, but can build and design a kite fit for a king. According to tradition, the first-born son is to represent the family. That doesn't stop Young-sup from hoping for the chance to show his great skill as a kite fighter. Ages 10 - 14
