Poems - C.S. Lewis

Although C.S. Lewis never published a book of verse during his lifetime, he wrote poetry from the age of fourteen. This poetic impulse is evident in much of Lewis's work, including his first prose piece, "The Pilgrim's Regress," which contains a number of short lyrics, and in his novel "Till We Have Faces," which had its beginnings as a long poem.
