When the Exxon ""Valdez"" struck the rocks in Prince Williams Sound, Alaska, nearly 11 million gallons of crude oil spilled into the water, contaminating every aspect of the environment--especially the sea otter. Here is the first-hand account of how they saved nearly 75 percent of the sea otters that were brought into the Sea Otter Rescue Center.
